Makes 4 servings
2 cups paneer (cottage cheese)
1/4 cup milk powder
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup ghee
1 1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
8 to 10 blanched pistachios
8 to 10 blanched almonds (badam)
2 to 3 edible silver warq
Combine the paneer, milk powder and sugar in a bowl and mix well.
Heat the ghee in a deep pan, add the paneer mixture and cook on a slow flame, while stirring continuously, till the ghee separates.
Remove from the flame and sprinkle cardamom powder.
Cool little and knead well.
Shape into a flat rounds and add almonds and pistachios.
Decorate with silver varq.
Serve immediately or store refrigerated.
