Chocolate chips ½ cup
Mawa (khoya) crumbled 200 grams
Refined flour (maida) 140 grams
Baking powder ½ teaspoon
Baking soda ½ teaspoon
Butter 120 grams
Condensed milk 250 grams
Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
Milk 80 millilitres
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180C.
Step 2: Sift the flour with baking powder and baking soda into a deep bowl.
Step 3: In another bowl, cream the butter and condensed milk together till light and fluffy. Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
Step 4: Fold the flour lightly into the butter mixture. Add the milk and mawa and mix well.
Step 5: Arrange the cupcake moulds on a baking tray and pour the batter evenly into each mould. Do not fill them up to the top.
Step 6: Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and place the tray in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Step 7: Demould and serve.
