Chicken mince 1 cup
Chickpeas (chole) boiled 1 cup
Oil 2 tablespoons
Onions finely chopped 2 medium
Fresh coriander leaves ½ cup
Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
Cumin powder roasted 1½ teaspoons
Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons
Tomato puree 3/4 cup
Chole stock 3 cups
Rock salt to taste
Salt to taste
Garam masala powder 2 teaspoons
Step 1: Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add onions and saute till they turn soft.
Step 2: Roughly chop coriander leaves.
Step 3: Add ginger-garlic paste to the cooker, mix and saute for a minute. Add chicken mince, mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Add turmeric powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder, mix well and saute well.
Step 5: Add tomato puree and mix well. Add chickpeas, 1½ cups chole stock and stir to mix.
Step 6: Add chopped coriander, rock salt, salt, remaining stock and garam masala powder and mix well. Cover and pressure cook till one whistle. Reduce heat and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Step 7: Serve hot.
